The B&W (samples) Collection is my debut of photography. I usually prefer motion video for visual art, but this felt the most incidental in my inclinations, resources, and emotional state.

B&W at first was a result of my learning curve in technical ability and I get bored doing color grading for photos. Not fun, not good. Once I did the self portraits I realized it was also like a reflective mirror of my shadow self. Pain and anguish was apparent - but doesn’t need to be consistent in every photo moving forward. It’s become a general concept of beauty along with the shadowy self peeking through.

I cannot tell you that I’m a writer unless I’ve just written something, even then once I say it out loud the magic fades a little. I cannot say I’m a filmmaker unless I’ve just completed a film, even then I feel it’s a discredit to the true grandiosity of cinema and directors. I cannot say I’m a photographer, I just started this shit.
